The Dean, Ireland
Where boutique hotel meets high end, this is easily my favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Across three locations in Ireland (Dublin, Galway & Cork) The Dean has curated a one-of-a-kind stay that makes you never want to leave.
AMENITIES + LOCATION
We stayed our entire time in Ireland at The Dean, with 2 nights in the Galway location and 2 nights in the Dublin location.
Both locations included top of the line gyms available use and classes offered by instructors, complimentary to hotel guests. The amenities include beautiful locker rooms equipped with Dyson hair dryers, saunas, steam rooms and thermal pools.
Sophie’s Rooftop restaurant features a menu that offers variety in it’s food and cocktails and lends itself to be an easy go-to if you’ve run out of places on your itinerary. It’s a great place to hit before your outings or upon getting back to the hotel after a day of adventures.
ROOM
As a sucker for good design and funk, the rooms were so fun, we still talk about the in-room Marshall bluetooth speakers, record players, fully stocked munchies bar and the dopest showers. Because our time in Ireland was short, I still feel like I didn’t get to truly experience every single thing that the Dean offered & I dream of going back.
PRICE-POINT
$$
The price-point was hard to beat for what you get. Worth every penny. We opted for hotels as only being in each city for 2 nights, an airbnb ended up actually coming out to be more expensive after the taxes and fees. Though, I’m sure for a longer stay an airbnb would be more cost effective, you’d be missing out on all of the amazing amenities (and vibes.)

We were there for St. Patty’s day and waited way too long to book a room but we got really lucky and the Dean still had a tiny little room open in their new extension that they just added, right next door to the main lobby that they call the “townhouse.” It was like a min hotel with it’s own little bar in the entrance, we only had 2 other rooms on our floor. The room would have likely been too small for a comfortable stay any longer than 2 nights, but it was perfect for our short time there.
